Does it fix wifi on the HH5 (Which is shocking).

No update on my type 'A'

I've just got infinity on the HH5 and regardless of channel my Samsung tv can't stay connected to wifi so Netflix or catch up is unusable. Our iPads won't stay connected either yet our apple airport is fine on the same channels and frequencies.

Is this because the HH5 has serious wifi issues mentioned earlier in this thread?

try giving the 2.4 and 5GHz networks different names. (ssid's)
sometimes works even when there is no apparent logical reason to.

I turned off all smart features on the HH and tried all main 2.4ghz channels. I do believe the iPads connection issue is an apple problem but they work great with my other routers

Is the TV getting an IP address assigned?
Can you then ping that IP on the internal network from say you PC?

On the router there's the UPnP setting in the Advanced > Firewall screen, is this turned ON? Without this the router won't open ports etc automatically for devices which the TV might need. Instead you'd have to do them manually.

My HH5 (Type A) has no problems with my Samsung smart TV. It will connect on both 2.4 and 5Ghz.

I resorted to using BT powerline adaptors for my TV connection and have had no problems since doing this.

The powerline adaptors do need re-synching every couple of months though.
