Re: Order totally broken, BT doesn't seem to care

Plenty of noise margin available for full estimated speed to be achieved. Looks like DLM is trying to fix an unstable line. Possible poor install.

I assume you're on Infinity 1 - 40/10 ?

Self install.

On master. I'm back in London now but will see what happens when the master socket is disconnected. I'm fairly sure the internal wiring is in the best state it can be but I could be wrong.

Hi there

Apologies if I am stating the obvious, but you haven't doubled up on broadband filters have you? I'm not sure if this could cause the disconnect / speed issue?

For example, if you have the VDSL faceplate fitted, then there is no need to install separate filters on all phone sockets as the signal is filtered at source from the faceplate.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

There's no filtered faceplate. Speeds have randomly shot up to 30+ meg, pretty much what I'd expect without changing anything. Probably some DLM weirdness or something. I'll recheck the internal wiring if it starts playing up again.
