Map

[re: NaNook] [link to this post]

I know everyone is trying to be helpful with the master socket stuff, but if NaNook can confirm he is on the bit of estate where the marker is then its clearly a distance issue.

Inner red circle is 500m radius and outer is 1km. The cabinet as I found it on Google Maps is on the roundabout to the top of the picture. Little icon placed in location.

I actually thought the cab was further away, on the main A4174 roundabout by Sainsburys smile

I will get next door to provide me with their stats tonight. The chap there is on this like a rash, and has been the one campaigning for Infinity for a few years now.

The PCP near the new FTTC cabinet should have the number on. The FTTC cabinets are not normally numbered.

Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync ~ 57.2/15.0Mbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

I have no idea what that means, or even if it is relevant.

I was simply going on the fact that people would state "The cabinet is on the MoD roundabout". The assumption being the first one off the ring road that leads to the MoD. As it happens, it is the second one within the boundaries of the outer jurishdiction of the MoD but swtill on public land.

You are apparently in doubt as to which of the two locations is your cabinet. The number on each is therefore relevant.

Nope, I am not in doubt in any way shape or form. I thought it was on the ring round roundabout, Saffy pointed out it was on the inner roundabout.

If Google gave away AirMiles for driving on Google Maps I'd be rich
