And to further add, Infinity has only been available on our my cab since the end of December last year.

Another case of your nick causing trouble LOL.

After emails bouncing back and forth, and substantial delays in between, I finally plucked up the courage to speak to BT India yesterday.

That is two and a half hours out of my life I will never see again.

The upshot is, they maintain the stats on their database state I can get up to 80meg and therefore, there must be a fault, resulting in an engineer visit (yawn).

He/She/It is due to visit Friday afternoon. If they then confirm that my line is only capable of XXX speed, then the package I am on will be downgraded.

As it happens, my sync speed has now dropped below 20meg, so it looks like I am going to be ultimately on not far from the speed I had with plain old ADSL.

I think this is heading to an early cancellation of contract and a move back to normal ADSL.
