As far as I know if you are on the trial you will get the update automatically. If the trial is succesful then everyone will get it.
If not succesful it's back to the dfrawing board

ok thanks i never got on the trial first i heard of it was here but i was on the original hh5 trial so thats a bit weird
did u contact bt about your lower sync etc ?

No, they contacted me to tell me I had been selected fot the trial.

I applied to trial the firmware for the HH5A away back at the end of last year, this is the second firmware, last time the update really improved the WIFI.

Speeds aren't bad on wifi even with the G.INP issue, I topped bout 74meg before... upload higher than i used to, latency has risen bout 8-10ms though

never really had a problem with wifi since i split the 2.4 and 5 GHZ
last trial i had email about was the mobile trial , i might email them see if they can send it to my HH

Previous to the update they done for everyone in Jan, my wifi was flakey to say the least.... Ive always split the 2 bands but the last firmware made it alot quicker and more reliable

Can you tell us all what if any changes are visible to the web interface and does it improve anything.
