Just checked neighbours HH5A and still running old firmware... his connection seems to be getting worse everytime I look at it....

He's lost 5+mbps on his upstream, he's now down to 11000kbps meanwhile I can achieve 25000+ upstream and both our lines are in the same bundle back to cabs..

In reference to From HH5a:
6. Data rate:11652 / 59916
7. Maximum data rate:13988 / 59615
8. Noise margin:5.8 / 6.4
9. Line attenuation:22.8 / 17.4
10. Signal attenuation:22.8 / 17.3

[chuckle] smile
You "could" if Openreach provided a product that would go that high.

I assume you can sync at 19999 or maybe 20000. What do you sync at, as a matter of interest? Your stats as per your neighbours might be interesting.

Yes I wouldn't mind Openreach making a product like 100/30 / 90/30...
personally I think they should have set the speeds speeds as follows:

30/10
60/20
90/30
100/40 (Maybe pushing it for FTTC anyway)

I sync at 20000 (G.INP) last time I looked but currently my modem isn't connected to router (apart for WAN of course)

But I will have to as I'm interested in comparing stats also..

You can connect LAN2 of the modem to any spare Ethernet port on your router. It's only the flashing process that is special. This is assuming you have everything on the same subnet of cause - the bridged modem part included.

I have access to my HG612 GUI and telnet whenever I wish, with no messing.
