I think Openreach resolved the G.INP themselves,

Resolved is one way to put it...
... turned it off

exactly... suppose like kids... they like making a mess but not cleaning it up!

they could of at least stood by their mistakes and tried to rectify them, not just brushed them under the carpet!

Well having it on for me, made me lose speed and gain latency... so it made my line worse, i know it worked well for worse lines....

But IIRC you have an ECI modem, which it turns out you should not have had.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk. Domains, site and mail hosting - Tsohost.
Connection - Plusnet UnLim Fibre (FTTC). Sync 57821/14115kbps @ 600m. - IPv4BQM IPv6BQM

The problem is that your device doesn't work with G.INP. To fix it, you should get a device that does work, not have Openreach turn it off for everyone.

You can easily buy an HG612 and plug the HH5A into that. The HG612 would handle the G.INP.
