@rich_jtg

Are you sure your modem supports G.INP?

Yep, Billion 8800NL.

From what I've read recently, many Huawei cabinets since the end of March (IIRC) haven't had G.INP switched on by default.

Does it have the correct firmware that supports G.INP?

So that's this one here http://www.billion.uk.com/esupport/index.php?/Knowle...

I wonder if you have to turn it on in the settings?

Nope, I believe it's supposed to be automatic and show up in the DSL info (for me currently 0), and would also show in DSLStats (which doesn't have the additional info present).

As I said, I'm fairly sure G.INP is no longer on as default on new Huawei cabinets, and to be fair, I'm not concerned about my connection as it does what I want from it... and I also don't want to take the OPs thread off-topic. smile

I believe G.INP has been rolled out to all Huawei cabinets. I wonder if Billion are the only devices which have the problem of should work but don't?!

Looks ok, but I think your connection would benefit by having a modem that supports G.INP.
