i never seen my hub5 yet go past ten days without a bt reboot and im on hh5 type a 204.1.11.

Mine reboots religiously every 2 weeks. As does my neighbour's.

I have it going through a hg612 as well, so it's not even doing any modem duties.

Don't you find that disruptive and slightly annoying?

I used the HH5 on my new Infinity connection until an issue with BT TV was resolved, it would regularly restart, would not hold full synch ( I can spit on the cab) and was swamped when very busy. Flashed HG612 and a Billion router hold full synch for many days, with a more stable throughput too. BT TV works with a simple setting change on the router.

Ditch the thing, it's cheap and nasty.

What's the latest HH5a firmware now?

Mine shows Software version 4.7.5.1.83.8.204 (Type A) Last updated 18/02/15

I'm only using it as a router, with the HG612 connected as a modem.

It seems to regularly reboot, usually at night. Did so at 5am this morning.

I do on my HH4 (Type A) I was told by BT on the phone that its to free up resources on the device so that its more stable.
Ours and several of our neighbour's that are with BT all do the same.

But yeah, very annoying, especially when your on a very slow ADSLx connection and you have been downloading a +30GB patch/expansion that takes forever for the HH to just reboot and its worse if the place your getting the patch from doesn't support resume

I forgot to mention, its an internal procedure call (IPC) that gets called every 14 days that reboots the whole HomeHub.
