Fully installed? Or just stood up? i.e. there is copper pairs to connect, fibre to blow and power to install and earthing and cabinet testing.
According to the X army engineer fully completed and good to go for the 30th of September 2015
I have now have been told mar 31st 2017 both by zen and bt senior director management and yet again they have no idea as to why there is another delay totalling 6 years
As I have always said BT, know nothing about broadband or even how it works at least with zen and Richard tang you have a person who does
At the end of the day, i cannot see this cabinet going live and my good friend in zen management cant also
On the downside for me personally i promised the estate as it 's chairman that i would be on the ball to make sure that it would be provided with fibre at the earliest opportunity back in 2011 this i have failed to achieve for the estate and have offered my resignation of which has been declined
We are of an opinion that BT are not capable of anything meaningful with many on the estate having to complain over the years with their phones not even working
Most people on out estate now just use their mobiles 4g/3g, which is perfect for their needs having realized this fiber, was going to be a myth and have worked around their concerns also saving £25 in costs in line rental etc
At the end of the day, the speed on offer for fibre is less than 4G so this whole exercise of trying to get fibre has been a complete waste of everyones time
I just thank god I dont have to work for the likes of BT
