Yep. Told the chap on the phone all the troubleshooting I'd done and he ordered a new Hub for me. He also said if that doesn't solve it then BT can't help me anymore

Was that BT Overseas Support, or a uk based support?

Either way that kind of sucks.

Yep overseas. Doesn't matter anyway - if replacement Hub doesn't solve must the type of issue that is solved by hooking up the Openreach modem and forking out for a fancy Wi-Fi router

Yup.
Well I plan to move our HH4A downstairs and have a router/modem (FRITZ!Box 3390 in cable mode) upstairs connected to our LAN and also use that for Wi-Fi.

So we end up with 2 lots of Wi-Fi (using different channels) throughout the house.
And all wireless devices here would just see the SID and use that when moving about the house

Still waiting for the Boost Engineer to arrive, was given a time of 8am to 1pm from BT, so only 72 mins left to wait, that's if they actually turn up.

Very few seem to need G.INP on the upstream anyway. Nearly everyone is on Fast Path for that even with downstream interleaving or downstream G.INP. This is why it is so hard for us to tell whether it is present and active or not.

Do you have upstream interleaving? If not, upstream G.INP is irrelevant to you.
