Just checked my HH6 and find that mine updated on the 2nd December.
Checked the figures and sad to say the downstream connection speed has dropped from 72 Mbps to 70 Mbps

Tried setting separate 5ghz and 2.4 ghz bands and connecting to the 5ghz band?

I find 2.4ghz behaves as described even on other routers in my home as 2.4ghz is so congested.

Did the factory reset help? My internet has been acting strangely for the last few days and when I logged in the hub, I noticed that the new firmware was installed around the time the connection started to be bumpy.

Erm, not done one yet, I was waiting for the latest firmware to get installed first.
I would be annoyed if I did a factory reset and went through all the hassle to configure everything back up and get another firmware upgrade to do all the stuff again.

The "latest firmware" does seem to keep changing though. The last version I'm aware of is SG4B10002244 but there may have been another one since then. Whether any of them actually does more good than harm seems open to question.

Well the original firmware on our Smart Hub only affected my sisters Apple Devices, so I was fine LOL.
Then on 24th Oct we got firmware SG4B10002236 and now every few days all Wi-Fi devices stop working resulting in me stopping and restarting the Wi-Fi just to do the same in another few days.

As far as I knew SG4B1000223E was the latest version, which I was waiting for.

It's not connection speed; it's IP profile that i'm talking about. My connection speed is unaltered.....

Well I just noticed in my logs that a firmware was downloaded and installed.
So I did a reboot and I now have firmware SG4B1000223E sadly now I have lost IPv6, so that firmware already sucks.

I have rebooted the Smart Hub 4 times now and still no IPv6

Hub IPv6 status: Enabled
IPv6 network status: Disabled

I wish I never touched it now

Scrub that, it seems that allocating an IPv6 address takes time, it just enabled itself.

So maybe its not a bad firmware LOL
