Cheers for the info so far , anyone on just none BT modem/router have the speed bump ?.

Don't really want to go back to the BT hub or mess with my line/connection as I'm one of the lucky ones with vectoring enabled on my line with a V1 billion 8800NL that has been flawless so far.

I got the email telling me I would be upgraded but still waiting for the email telling me I have been upgraded. BT speed test shows I can get the full whack but the speed test on here shows I am still capped at 38Mbps. What I can't see is where on my HH3 router is the information about what speed I am currently set at? Or do I need to look at my account on the BT web site?

The HH3 doesn't show the sync speed on Infinity because it uses the OpenReach modem separately to sync.

Which BT speed test are you referring to?

Question now is are they using their "IP profile for your line is *****" to determine who gets the speed bump ?.

My Stats for instance, BT "IP profile for your line= 50.93Mbps"(BT55/10 )

My routers attainable speed on my line = 70600Kbps.

Wonder where this leaves guys like myself ?.

That indicates you're syncing at the max for Infinity 1.

What does www.dslchecker.bt.com say for your line?

Max of 49.2Mbps on the clean A range.

That speedtest will show you the speed of which your router is connecting to the internet. The thinkbroadband speedtest shows the speed of which your computer/device is connecting to the internet.

Therefore your computer/device is not utilizing the full amount of bandwidth you have.

Are you using a wireless or wired connection? All speedtests should be done on a wired connection
