Stuck at 32Mbps

Had Infinity for years now its always been rock solid with no drop outs and sync'd at 55Mbps or so. Presently the sync speed is "stuck" at 32Mbps given the "free" speed upgrades coming I want to be in a position to take advantage plus I want my missing speed back lol.

I've done the usual bits and bobs, rebooted router etc etc

Line stats are:

Max attainable 55Mbps
Current 32Mbps
Attenuation 22dB
Noise margin 18dB

Time since last reboot there's literally not even one error on the line in the stats.

Now I can see speed has dropped due to the noise margin but what's the deal with getting that sorted on FTTC? It's been like it over a week now and the only drops have been the odd one where i've rebooted the router other than that it's absolutely solid but assuming this is DLM there's not been any movement.

Any suggestions please

Have you contacted BT and asked them to release the cap on speed?

If you were previously sync'd at 55Mbps and the Max attainable is also 55Mbos what speed upgrade are you expecting?

Actually getting 55Mbps rather than the 32Mbps the OP is currently getting.

Getting his 55Mbops back is one issue, but there will be no "free speed upgrade" - they may move him to an 80/20 package but he will not be able to get any more than 55Mbos

I suppose that on a good day the OP might just get a 56Mbps sync!
