Price rise e-mail?

Still haven't got an e-mail with a price rise notification ... do I absolutely have to wait for one or can I contact BT and tell them I'm leaving because the increase on the 7th of Jan has been publicly declared?

I only just got one yesterday. BT do seem to be very slow with their emails these days, maybe using a very old email server perhaps.

Thanks for that, thought they might have forgot about me! Initially assumed they were delaying them until after Black Friday - when all their competitors had special deals on - for commercial advantage.

Just hold out - but you could ring cancellations today and notify them of your intent to leave, see what if any deal they can offer you on a new contract term.

I got BT Infinity 1 and Line rental for less than £30 a month when I did this last year. I did have to push for them to check with a manager on any deals.

Just received my price increase email today, If I commit to another 18 month contract it will stay the same as the previous price.

That is a question you should ask the BT retention team.

Had my email today at 14:15, though there aren't many (any?) other providers offering 80/20 for less than £33.49 atm?

Does that include line rental/calls as well?
