There's your problem! Both noise margin's are very high pointing to a very significant fault!

Those figures in the post by devcs2 are just an example, nothing to do with the OP's line. For some reason the OP has never offered any detailed modem/router stats making it difficult for forum members to offer advice.

Re: Slow Broadband Speed

[re: candlerb] [link to this post]

My BT contract for broadband & landline ends on 21 Sep 2022 & mobile (sim card) on 21/02/23. If I switch to another supplier sim card doubles in price to £10. Total current cost per month for landline, broadband, & SIM card 36MB is £50 per month.

I want to keep the land line and I am happy with a speed of 36MB. I'll also need to look for a new sim card.

I don't watch TV or do any streaming of TV programs

Firstly, I'd like a reliable ISP who looks after my data (unlike TalkTalk)

Secondly, I'd also like a fixed price conract not linked to inflation.

I've been with BT for decades, but perhaps it is time to look for a new provider.

Any ideas? Many thanks
