Well, they kept sending them to me ... when my FTTP first went in with the SmartHub - Business 300/50, I was testing it out and getting the full 300 down, but upstream was just 30-35 but with a consumer SH2 I could get a full 50, they sent a replacement - same problem, then another and also from BT a Consumer SH2. Business - 30-35, Consumer 50, Ubiquiti Security Gateway 50.

I ran an documented a full set of tests using BT Speedtest, TBB, speedtest.net and another site for Business Hub x2 , Consumer SH2, USG with five readings from each site. And sent the full set to BT that showed an issue with Business Hubs on 300/50 FTTP or should that be 300/30. Took a good half day. My reward - keep the hubs and a £250 bill credit! and then a couple more hubs arrived.

It was just at the SmartHub to SmartHub2 changeover - so a couole at the bottom of the pile are probably the SH though.

I’ll know whose door to knock on if ever I need an SH/2 or three 👍😀

To be honest, I am probably going to dispose of some especially the original Business SHs - the one not on the equipment list BT have for us. They are just sitting gathering dust!
