Have just worked out....

....What "Web Browsing Interception: Auto" is on the Speedtouch range of routers.

When the router is disconnected from the ISP you get a nice Speedtouch page asking you if you would like to Connect or run some diagnostics. How very helpful.

Amazing Speedtouch Support didnt know.

It also links into the content filtiering that they put in with the new firmware.
