ST 510 v4

[link to this post]

Hello, just a quick question about the time stamps in the router logs...

When I reboot the router the timestamps reset back to zero. How can i change the timestamps to the local time rather then it resetting back to zero?

e.g. 13:54 - PPP Chap Recieved

rather than 00:00 - PPP Chap Recieved

Probably can't.
If it's anything like other routers with the same chipset (other Speedtouch routers & Belkin, etc.), they obtain the time & date stamp from an NTP time server.
In order to obtain the correct time, it needs to have a connection to the internet (which it doesn't have on a reboot).

This can only be done using firmware 4.3.2 and setting up the SNTP server.

No its part of the new firmware and the SNTP client in the firmware connects to an external SNTP server to get time updates every hour.
