Reboot or DMT Re-sync ?

My 14 days is coming up soon of a constant connection sync. I'm trying to see if my target margin of 15db will go down after 14 days. Whats the recommended action - reboot the 510 or use DMT to just ask for a re-sync ? Would a manual re-sync look like a drop on the line to Rambo ?

If you want RAMBO to see a dropped line, then physically drop the line by pulling out the phone connection. Many modems have "last gasp" technology, so a reboot or re-sync (or even pulling the power plug) may not be seen as a dropped line.
