DG834 V1

[link to this post]

Can someone help me please, am I correct in saying, to drop PPPoA only without disconnecting from the bt network, I need to enter the router (192.168.0.1) goto Router status/connection status, then press disconnect?

Is there any way on the V1 to get error seconds /fec/crc error reports?

Thanks in advance

Robert

"am I correct in saying, to drop PPPoA only without disconnecting"

On the V3 that would drop the PPP connection but leave ADSL synced.

This works on the V3 but I don't know about the V1 http://pathogenrush.blogspot.com/2007/03/obtaining-detailed-stats-from-netgear.html

If that fails, try enabling debug mode http://www.routerlogin.net/?todo=debug

telnet routerlogin.net

cat /proc/avalanche/avsar_modem_stats

I can't seem to find that option, maybe it's not included on the V1?

Where is yours in the option menu's.
