ATM int on Cisco Router

[link to this post]

I've got a strange ADSL problem that has left me scratching my head. I've got a 2mbit ADSL (datastream based) that is connected to Cisco 3825. The main ATM interface ATM0/3/0 is up/up and the ADSL is in sync (with good figures), but the sub-int is down/down. When I look at the PVC on the router (sh atm pvc 0/38) the router displays the following: Status: DOWN, State: NOT_VERIFIED. I'm going to report it out to NTL but I was wondering if anyone has any ideas?

Which network modules / wan cards are you using?

According to our parts department it's simply a WIC1 ADSL card. That said I think I've discovered why the sub-int is down. I checked our CAL (POP) router and the ATM there is down/down as well saying the PVC there can't be verified, so that's something else for me to look into tomorrow.

Ended up being a simple fix. Simply did a shut/no shut on the interface and it came up.
