No you can't.

That router does not support Sky's fibre service. You need a MER router, that one only does PPPoE

I'll 2nd that, the 7800n is the best router that I've used (I've used around 15), AAISP gave me one but I had to send it back when I left, If I go for sky fibre (still deciding) I'm going to buy one.

I'd like to join Sky FTTC but the MER requirement is a big pain.

skyuser.co.uk has quite a long thread, where the BIllion has been shown to work with Sky's MER system on ADSL, but nobody has yet tried it on FTTC.

I'd like to use a Draytek too, but unfortunately it seems Sky's network doesn't work with PPPoE over the fibre modem, instead you have to use MPoA similar to BE/O2 and then the DHCP client (dhcpc) is modified to send an obscure request option with the sky userid/password inside.

Grr.

Good news, hopefully simple given they've made it work on ADSL/ADSL2+ smile

Quote from the 8960N manual.....
"Default Gateway IP address should be specified since MER Interface is selected when you
select the Enable automatic Assigned Default Gateway check box."
