I've just received an Asus RT-N66u that I bought off ebay. I've just plugged it in and got a problem with it! When I plug all my Ethernet adapters in and move the ac adaptor i get a buzzing noise and it seems to "short" and the router powers off, when I press down hard on the ac adaptor it comes on again and seems to work okay. If I touch the AC wire at all it will "short again".
However, If I plug just in the AC adaptor and the router I can move the AC cable as much as I want and it works fine...it seems only when everything is plugged into the router this fault occurs...
I'm not sure what to do...I cant tell whether the AC adaptor is faulty or the router its-self?
I believe its running Merlin Firmware not sure if this could be affecting it?
