ADSL speed slow on wireless - normal on ethernet.

[link to this post]

Has anybody come across this before - I have a Belkin F5D7632-4 with latest firmware. I use it almost exclusively via wireless through my laptop. Over the last couple of days my adsl speeds (ADSLGuide and PlusNet speed tests) have plummetted and I'm getting around 100kbps on a 1MB line. If I fire my desktop up and connect via ethernet I get results that I normally get around about 900kbps.

Wireless network connection on my laptop reports a very good connection at 54Mbps.

I've re-booted everything and also powered the router down for 2 hours this evening.

What other wireless networks exist in your neighbourhood ?

Have you changed the MTU value for the laptop to 1380 ?

Has anything else changed ?

Thanks

My neighbour has the same router (and has had for over a year) but I'm on channel 1 he's on 11. I also have a video sender but once again have had for over a year. NetStumbler doesn't pick up any other networks.
My laptop settings are the same as they have always been - never changed any default settings and until Saturday I've not had a problem.
The only thing I can think of that's changed is the swathe of updates that came out from MS over the last few days.
