% adsl maxdnrate [value/3M~8M]
% 8M: 8Mbps
% 7M: 7Mbps
% 6M: 6Mbps
% 5M: 5Mbps
% 4M: 4Mbps
% 3M: 3Mbps
% 0: auto mode
% xxx: xxxbps

value:108
Notes: The value is valid for ADSL

I use the "xxx" variant, so I specify 108 to get 3,424,000 (=108*32,000)

0 is the default behaviour.

Some of us have been testing this for a few weeks. I think it's generally very useful for people with 2800's on "less than stable" max lines.

There is still another issue of drop-outs on long lines with overnight noise/reduced SNR that needs to be addressed.
