speedtouch 585 v6

hi all
have a speedtouch 585v6 with the latest firmware,the problem is i sometime get this message ,
Connection could not be established: Disconnected because idle timeout reached,
this happens only at night and was wondering if anybody else has had this and how did you rectify
connected to fmn

What are the Bandwidth and SN Margin you are seeing.

Sounds like an idle timeout is being reached, setting it to zero usually means no idle timeout. How you set it on this router is unclear, probably need to poke around via telnet/CLI. Hopefully somebody will know.

How do you set the idle timeout - I've haven't seen any options for this on the GUI?

Like I said, I don't know. Probably hidden somewhere in the cli commands.

This is referring to the telnet connection - not sure if it is the same for connecting to the exchange

i am connected at 3456kbits snr margin 7.5 night to 11.5 in the day on fmn , no issues with speed.

sorry if i did not make myself clear in the first question, the problem is that when i leave my st 585 synced at night all is well , when i get up in the morning i have a green light on the st 585 showing i am synced but a red light showing no internet connection . i go to the st585 home page and it shows , connection could not be established: Disconnected because idle timeout reached , it will not let me reconnect to the internet till i manually resync the router ,
