Ok now this is getting annoying
This is exaclty what I am doing:
Reset router using pin on the back, waiting for it to come back online and entering web interface.
Running the built-in Setup Wizard (firmware 5.4), selecting Data (Custom) and entering the following infos:
Private(without-NAT):
IP Address of Speedtouch: 87.127.80.33
Ethernet Subnet: 87.127.80.32
Ethernet Mask: 255.255.255.248
DHCP Enabled:
First: 87.127.80.34
Last: 87.127.80.38
These are what I assume are the correct details given that I have a /29 from UKFSN/Enta.
The wizard finishes fine.
However, under:
Home > Home Network > Interfaces > LocalNetwork
The IP Addresses part says:
10.0.0.138/24 Static
192.168.1.254/24 Static
The DHCP Pool says:
LAN_custom 87.127.80.34 - 87.127.80.38 87.127.80.33
but if you edit it the "Server" field is set to 10.0.0.138
So, I add 87.127.80.33 under "IP Addresses" and update the DHCP "Server" field to 87.127.80.33 as well, then reboot the router and remove:
10.0.0.138/24 Static
192.168.1.254/24 Static
from "IP Addresses", then a quick reboot and DHCP is picking up the right details and everything appears fine, except it isn't as now although the DSL is synced up it won't connect with the error:
"Last Error Message: Disconnected by user "
And it wont connect until I take out 87.127.80.33 from under "IP Addresses", then it will connect fine.
So, anybody have any suggestions? As im out of them and all in favor of having a burning the Speedtouch bonfire.
