Draytek 2600VG

Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there is any difference between the 2600G and the 2600VG apart from VoIP capability. Is the 2600VG an inferior model?

they are about the same, though due to VOIP the VG model is the superior. However you may know that the 2600 series has been discontinued and superseded by the 2800 series which is the current state of art at Draytek. Also consider the little cheaper Vigor 2700VG if you don't require advanced VPN features and/or an inbuild USB printer server port.

Thanks for clarifying that thought, I'm going with the discontinued model because it's a bit more tolerant with weak lines apparently the 2800 series is not. Thanks again.

The 2700VG is good on long lines, in my experience. Obviously it's going to cost more than a 2600 though.
