Speedtouch 546v6 install problem...

Hi, I've just purchased a speedtouch 546v6 router and having an absolute nightmare installing the little beggar.

I've foloowed to instructions exactly about 20 times on the cd guide and evertime the install just hangs at "please wait while scanning your computer" part. Only way to get out of it is to close it in task manager.

I've also downloaded some other drivers off the net and they either do the same thing or say that the router is "password protected"????

Anyone else had this problem or have any ideas (apart from sending it back, which i'm gonna do on monday if I cant get it to work"

its ok, sorted it, needed to select obtain ip address automatically

It's always worth remembering to set your PC to obtain an IP from the router before attempting new installs
