high speed modem 125kbps..???

Hi, I have a BT line with the BT home hub.....If I bought a high speed modem ( 125kbps ) would that improve my internet speed as my home hub's speed keeps dropping.

Hi, how I see it, the 125 Mbps is the router wireless speed it would not make any difference to you line speed, on Max the line speed is 8 Mbps if you are lucky.

Your line speed is dropping at night due to electrical noise, switch off the router overnight and that should bring back you speed profile hopefully.

I should be getting about 6-8 mb, but I seem to get about 6 one day then the next I get about 5, then the next day 4 until it settle's about 1......please help
