ADSL Router with bandwidth stats?

[link to this post]

I'm in the market for a new ADSL Router (with wifi connectivity), but are there any out there which log bandwidth stats for individually connected clients? You can do this with the routertech firmware (you can even write a bash script that mails them back to you every x hours), but I'm hardly gonna install that on a router during its warranty period.

Also -- are some brands of router better known for syncing at higher rates than others? Since using the routertech fw on an Addon GWAR3000, my sync rate has dropped from 8128/448 to the region of 6200/448. This is apparently because the latest DSP drivers (in the firmware) favour lower sync speeds for better reliability. But I had zero problems syncing at 8128/448 for two months previously, and I want my old BRAS Profile (7150) back.

BUMP
I'm bumping this post because I would also like a router that monitors bandwidth stats. Well, actually a router that can tell me cumulative throughput to avoid exceeding ISP download limits. Preferably one that doesn't lose the totals when it's re-booted and doesn't require special software to get at the totals.

Software meters on individual PCs are not suitable for this business situation.

You need to use a router which supports SNMP, then you could use a PC with Wallwatcher or something similar to collect the stats.

The AVM Fritz!Box Fon WLAN 7050 and 7140 have an online bandwith monitor

see here: http://img171.imageshack.us/img171/848/onlinemeterfo0.jpg

besides this, you won't be disappointed to have invested in this router!

Thanks for the replies.

I thought from various posts made by people on these forums that there were plenty of routers which kept a log of download/upload usage (& not lost by a power-off), but with only the AVM FritzBox mentioned obviously that isn't true. I'm really surprised that no more well known router has this feature.

Anyway, the FritzBox must be a runner, though at 160 Euros + vat list price (or
