Time to change the keys being used.

Pick a simple key phrase e.g. 112233445566 and see whether that works. Some interfaces accept the passphrase in different formats, but with WPA this should be a lot less of a problem.

Will try the number as suggested,but i have already been threw that link also,and unless ive missed something. Surely if i just set the same code on both router and laptop and apply,it should connect?

Seem to now have connected to the router,but only with wep,even tho i tried it before its seems to have worked now.Wpa will still not work even with the code off the router,and also just a selection of numbers on its own. Im sure wep will be good enough,and better than no security at all.thanks again,olly
