DG834PN got replacement for the 585V6?

Hi Guys

My 585V6 has done me well for the past 12 months, but I'm looking for something a little more flexible.

Does the DG834PN use the same chipset at the 585V6? and if so will DMT still work with it?

the DMT site lists versions and which hardware they support.

Get a DG834n and put the DGTeam firmware on it, i never thought i would be happy with anything else other than my 858v6 but the DG834n with the DGTeam firmware on it had made me a happy bunny.

EDIT:

It is also a broadcom chipset like the 585v6

I've just replaced my Speedtouch 585 with a DG834PN and so far so good - my connection is still 8128kbps / 832kbps, attenuation now showing as 44db and noise margin ranging between 5db-9db, no drops yet.

you can put that firmware on the PN version as well
