Ok my experience with Buffalo isn't with there routers, but I got a Buffalo Linkstation Duo Pro 1TB NAS for backups at work (it was very cheap!), but I've found it it to be transferring at HALF the speed of an old AMD Duron 1600 with a pair of 120GB 7200rpm IDE disk's on a gigabit network. After a google, I'm not the only one. Then 2 weeks latter the unit packs up.

I've not been terribly impressed with support either.
