Yes, I agree the Frizt!box is very reliable - I have had it now for 2 years with no problems at all - which I cannot say about the three previous Netgear Routers that kept crashing.

Hi all,
I have a Fritz!box 7270 and love its features and am using it as a DECT base station. It's replaced a very poor (in comparison) O2 Wireless Box II which constantly lost connections for extended periods. In the month since replacing it with the Fritz!box I've not had a single drop out, which is nice.

The one downside is that my current Philips DECT handset doesn't pick up the phone book from the router, so I'm looking for some advice on whether anyone has found a phone that can properly use the phone book functionality. I've seen that Siemens Gigasets may work. I know that AVM make handsets to go with the router but unfortunately they've only got a German language interface.

Any (useful) advice would be very welcome...

Thanks,

Steve

Upgrade the firmware on the O2 box.

My Gigaset A58H handsets find the 7390 Telephone Book when I press the INT button - down at the bottom across from RECALL. Earlier BT Diverse(Siemens) find it hidden down a menu. Good luck!
