Scroll down this page to RouterStats Lite and download that.

Set it to sample at the shortest period it will, I think that is 7 seconds but perhaps 5 seconds, and also log to file. That may help us see what is happening to cause the disconnections.

My broadband basic info/help site - www.robertos.me.uk
My domains, website and mail hosting - Tsohost. Internet connection - IDNet Home Starter Fibre. Live BQM.

For the line side I would suggest a 2wire 2700HGV - the BT Business router excellent long line / high attenuation performance and it also has wireless and VOIP capabilities. You can often get one for around £10-20 on ebay.

However, you will need to sort oit te VOIP side of it as it is lekely to be tied to BT. It can be done and the IDnetters forum has some information.

You will need:

http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/141.htm

and

http://www.idnetters.co.uk/forums/index.php/board,25...

The first tells you how to get the hub working on non-BT ISPs and the second is a good forum for the router.

I wonder if you could use your existing Thomson plugged into a 2700 as te VOIP interface?
