I'd probably recommend the firmwares available on the UK site at:

http://draytek.co.uk/support/downloads.html

They actually offer alternatives for different line qualities. FWIW, i'm using the "standard" 3.3.5.2 with no problems. Also, apply the .rst version so it wipes settings clean.

Yeah I had the latest firmware on the router. I have arranged to get the router returned, maybe just this one that is faulty.

Shame really as the wifi on the Draytek is fantastic compared to the Netgear, just a shame this particular unit cant hold the connection as well as a £30 Netgear.

Thanks for the information. I tend to forget the .co.uk site.

So DrayTek.com you have to register with support site and log in to download firmware.

DrayTek.co.uk you can get the same firmware WITHOUT having to register and log in !!!! crazy crazy

With Drayteks, trying different modem codes can sometimes help.
