Thanks. I realise now I got it wrong.
Never mind, think positive!! You've now proved that your filters work!

I've double filtered the only phone I have, and got carried away.
Thanks everyone for your help. [Runs away and hides in wardrobe]

It's not supposed to work double filtered that's why
Any more than one filter will stop the internet working
You can double filter phones and sky boxes though

Just so you know a filter blocks out broadband signals on the phone side
So when you plug a filter into the socket, the phone side no longer has broadband signals
Now plug a filter into this filter... Well the broadbands been removed by the first filter so it won't work on the second one now.
Broadband only ever works on the adsl side of the first filter
The other socket on the filter has no broadband signal.

Billion Bipac 7800DXL. Have been having a problem with a Vodafone sure signal box,
The SureSignal needs to make an IPsec VPN connection through to vodafone. You might want to check the Billion config to see if it has any VPN passthru features that need to be on, or if are on, try with them off!
Also disable any additional firewall settings you might have set.

Thanks for that. I didn't really expand on the problem. The sure signal works fine between my house and Vodafone and works perfectly with my Galaxy S2. However with two other Galaxy phones, a 'Young' and a mini2, the calls are dropped and the 3g light flashes on the sure signal unit.
Vodafone support have been very good but it's just a baffling problem. Putting my SIM in the other phones makes no difference, the calls are still dropped.

the calls don't connect or drop part way ?
did you register their numbers for your SureSignal ? though your SIM should overcome that (I think)
My 3G light flashes green slowly when making a successful call. Sagem vertical book style unit.

MaxDSL - goes as fast as it can and doesn't read the line checker first.

Strange. In my area we get a weak 2G signal from Voda, so I often have to turn "airplane mode" on, then off, to force the phone to give up the 2G and move to the strong 3G from the suresignal. Once the phone is connected to the SureSignal its fine.

the calls don't connect or drop part way ? Drop part way through. Yet my Galaxy S2 doesn't drop at all.
All phones registered correctly. Confirmed by the Vodafone txt message.
Alcatel-Lucent v2 sure signal displays a white 3g light when a signal is being transmitted, and also a white 'phone' light when a call is in progress. When calls are dropped, sometimes only the 3g light flashes. Other times both lights flash.

The 'problem' phones connect to sure signal without any problems, and stay connected. Even when the calls are dropped and sure signal has stabilised, the phones reconnect OK.
