I haven't installed the cockpit software - I've done everything via the config. URL accessed from Windows 7 Network Center. I don't usually let manufacturers' CDs anywhere near my computer after letting BT install loads of junk when I first got their broadband with a shiny new CD. And the Belkin software was a real pain after I accidentally loaded their 'management' programme along with a driver for a dongle. Maybe the Devolo one might be worth a look.
