Asus DSL-N55U

New beta firmware is out for the above router (v9), amongst some new features is a reboot scheduler. The default is off but it can be set to reboot on a certain day of the week at a certain time. I wonder why this is in the new firmware. Any reports of the router needing a regular reboot for whatever reason?

Mine regularly has uptime of weeks/months.

Only needed to reboot once, but that was not related to the hardware. Other than that only power outages have caused reboots.

Now if they could only offer L2TP VPN sever capacity!

Currently at 52 days uptime, was just wondering why an auto reboot in new firmware.
