I have been using a BT Smart Hub for quite a while and so far have had no issues at all with it. Have split the wireless to use different SSIDs for 2.4 and 5Ghz but otherwise haven't really changed anything.

Agreed, haven�t had to do the WiFi split thing, it just works ... and that is exactly what I want from my various gizmos.

I've recently had delivered the new Billion BiPAC 8800AXL R2 and I can highly recommend it. Good BDCM chipset and decent WiFi.

Ain't such a thing as a stupid question.

Look for ADSLx/VDSLx in the routers description.

ADSLx for normal broadband and VDSLx for fibre.
