FTTC Cab has been powered for a month - how long now??!!

I'm on Cab 11 on SMSU exchange and the shiny FTTC cab has been humming for a month now, but availability checkers still say availability will be 30th Sept 2011. I just wondered what are the experiences of others - how long between when your FTTC cab got powered up and when FTTC actually became available to you?

EDIT: I just checked SamKnows... It had been saying SMSU RFS was 01/03/11, then after 1/3 it said "Available in some areas" which I took to mean the exchange is live. Now it sayd RFS is 11/03/11 - today. Anyone know what this means is happening? Is this data solid or would they be just rolling the date back because they have no solid info?

check bt wholesale checker what does that say what predicted speed ?

I'm on SMSSF th Stony Stratford exchange.

I live in Crownhill and my dates have been mimicking yours.
As you said, mine has also changed on SamKnows from Sept. 2011 to 11/3/11, ie today!
Wholesale checker still saying September.

I think it s worth checking with your ISP to see what they know but I think it is iminent now.

I'm on the SMHY exchange and my cabinet had power installed about 1 week ago and i was able to order Bt infinity yesterday.

Ty a different ISP checker - Infinity seems to be the last to catch up.

I live in Great Holm and have noticed the date has also moved to Sept.

I had a contact in Milton Keynes Council last year who told be it would go live on the 31st of March, I've emailed him again today for some feedback, I'll update you guys when and if I find out.

But to be honest I think it's a case of wait and see, I'm not convincit the Sept date is correct, BT would not install and power up the equipment for it just to sit there doing nothing for 6 months.

Are you on the Stony or Wolverton exchange? Could you do a check on Sam Knows and see if your date is also 11/3/2011? Be interesting to compare.

I am on the Stony exchange and located in Two Mile Ash. My dates are following the same pattern as mentioned in this thread - currently sitting at September.

I think like has been mentioned in other threads it will probably be the case that you check it one day and it will be ready to go. The logic of putting the equipment in etc then leaving it for so long doesnt make sense.

I'm on the Stony exchange, SAMs tells me it's the 11th of March but BT Wholesale says Sept.

your lucky, on smhy wycombe and my cabinet isnt activated yet, also noted new tall cabinets are very unevenly spread (I assume a legacy issue) some less than 400 yards apart others over 2KM apart.

Yes you guessed it my cabinet is over 1km away ( via trefor map and confirmed by 2 bt engineers) yet I am nowhere near the edge of town. Forecast speed is about 13Mb if BT want to compete with cable (which is in my street) they will need to fit some infill cabinets to even come close to cables speeds
