FTTC and 21CN

The BT Wholesale checker refers to FTTC as "WBC FTTC". Does this mean that the exchange becomes WBC-enabled for non-FTTC lines at the same time?

No, the fibre can all go through 1 exchange in the area which has WBC.

For eg my exchange NILDW hasn't got 21CN WBC yet... the fibre all goes via another exchange nearby NILDM which has.

My exchange is due to have 21CN WBC by 31st March though...

Yes. Most FTTC areas are grouped together at a common headend/ handover point in one exchange.

the NILDW exchange was due to be done 31st March 2010 i guees 2 years wait was not too bad lol
at long last bt openreach got off they backside !!
