FTTC Check uplift figure

not up and running yet, due in June, bt test says will get around 30Mb down,

have ran fttc check and it says uplift 16,22

My current download speed is 5Mb, so is that 5Mb x 16.22 = 81Mb?

I got the opposite, i'm on 10mb now but uplift is only 2.9 with fttc (also cant get it until end of june or later) yet the bt wholesale website and tester says i'll get 75.6mb

No, believe the 30Mbps figure (although it may be pessimistic), ignore the 81Mbps.

could be average speed is 2mb so uplift is based on that, 5mb is above average. so throws x number off

You will get what you get and that's that really.
No use anyone trying to predict what you will get.
If the line checker tells you 30mb then that's way better than what your getting just now, anything more than that will be a lil bonus for ya
