The engineer will only install the Infinity connection at the master, unless he also fits the available
data extension cable up to 30 metres cable length from that. A standard telephone extension cable will not do.
The engineer also has instructions normally to wall-mount the modem, but can be made not to.
This begins to sound as though the decor may suffer?

Power sockets for both the modem and the Home Hub will be needed. I run mine, plus a lot more gear, on three 4-way multi-socket strips at the end of a trailing lead LOL.
