FTTC Cabinet

Hi how long it take BT to get accepted order once FTTC cabinet is installing?

Got email from BT Openreach yesterday:

Dear Sir.

Exchange Cuckoo Oak

Cabinet 8

Postcode T** ***

Tele No: 0**** ******

The exchange that your line is fed from Cuckoo Oak is enabled and accepting orders for cabinets that have already been deployed.

However the cabinet feeding your line PCP 8 is not due for deployment until Phase 11a Which is Q3 2013/14, (Sep – Oct 2013) the cabinet in question is current planned as FTTC.

As usual the answer is "it depends" , on several factors after the cabinet is planted.
In general it's around 4-6 weeks, but can be months or years later depending on the nature of the delay(s)

Well I hope it ready by Nov 2013. Don't want to wait a long months or a year.
