Home Hub 3 Vs Home Hub 5

Currently on Infinity 2 package with home hub 3, can I confirm the home home hub 5 has an in built VDSL modem thus eliminating the use for the existing Huawei. If so would there be any gains in the download rate. Speed test currently shows around 60megs 300m ish from fttc.

Yes the HH5 has a built in VDSL modem so no need for the separate openreach modem. It makes no real difference to speed though.

Only the really basic stats.

The downsides of the HH5 are the same as the HH3, which is that you can't be pinged, and the user interface is pretty much dumbed down.

Basic stats is enough for Routerstats Hub to be able to show up problems.

BT Hub 5 is reported very poor wifi

plusnetADSL2+16 Meg
