Hi All,
Where I work is some distance from the exchange (approx. 6km) and a fair distance from the cabinet (1.2km).
We are currently on a Digital Region connection (12mbps down / 3mbps up) but as this is shutting down soon, I am looking for alternatives.
Ideally, we would love a leased line, but cannot afford one.
BT FTTC will be available (or is planned to be available) by the end of March, so we could get BT FTTC soon. Are there any suppliers that do Bonded FTTC?
It needs to be bonded at the ISP end as we do run a mail server and a company extranet so a single static IP is essential.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

and Andrews&Arnold ISP

Is your existing connection bonded?

No, it isn't, looking to make an improvement as a result of the Digital Region closure!
Thanks

Thanks for the info, currently we sit just within their 100gb usage, I'd be nervous though as additional usage seems very expensive considering to cost of the product in the first place.
Are there any other options?

Content removed. It was wrong, as pointed out by IgnitionNet.

True bonded FTTC isn't possible, as Openreach don't support it. Load-balancing is what you are looking for.
It's possible, doing basically what AAISP do with a point to point VPN across multiple lines terminating in a DC. This presents the public IP of the VPN concentrator at the DC as the IP address of both DSL lines.
This requires nothing from Openreach.

I've just had another read of the AAISP page I linked to in the other thread, plus a lot of that thread, plus another AAISP page I found, plus another explanation elsewhere.
I got it wrong before!
