FTTC + TP-Link WDR3600

Im trying to get my WDR3600 To work with the open reach modem but it wont connect.

In the router logs im seeing this:

User name and pass is the exact same as the HG533 router I was using, is using and that works fine.

Im set to PPPOE as well.

Well I sure do, Even on ADSL I can not connect with out a user and pass, same goes for fibre.

I use a WDR3600 for connecting to Plusnet FTTC; the router's quick setup procedure worked fine each time I used it.

Right now, it has chosen the PPPoE/Russia PPPoE setup, and I put my regular username/password in. It selected the secondary connection to disabled, while I changed the connection mode to connect on demand with 0 seconds.

It is physically connected to an HG612 modem.

I still keep getting CHAP Auth issues..

Using an ECI modem.. Got a HG612 on the way so will try with that when it comes

After checking something, the TT Router does not use a Username as Password to connect to the net.

So why am I getting CHAP authentication fail with the TP-Link router? Thats either with or without a username entered.

Why wont this work!?

I always thought TT used the same username and password on the router that you use to log on to your account on the website unless it only applies to former Tiscali customers.

I can do a snapshot of the logs for when it works, if that'll help?

Might as well, might be something there to give me a clue what the [censored] is going on
